Lucy Jones is the founder and driving force behind Lucy Jay. Her collections of silk scarves feature elaborate and dynamic patterns. The exhibition at The Old Shoreditch Station will exclusively launch the Lucy Jay A/W 13 Collection and will feature large-scale artworks inspired by her new range of printed graphic silk scarves.
The vision for the Lucy Jay label is derived from combining together unusual concepts and representing them through shapes, colour and graphic pattern. Her A/W 13 collection took its inspiration from colourful character Sue Kreitzman, an artist from New York living in East London. The installation will include the images from the new Lucy Jay look book, art directed and styled by John William and photographed by Saga Sig. The photo shoot took place at Sue’s house, in amongst her fantastical creations and collections.
Lucy Jay has been featured in Creative Review, How To Spend It, Harpers Bazaar, Nylon magazine, Twin magazine, Grazia, the Telegraph. This exhibition will be the first chance to view and buy the collection anywhere in the world.
As part of the exhibition JaguarShoes Collective will also be producing a limited edition collectable that will be available in store and online soon!
As a part of the latest exhibition at DreamBagsJaguarShoes, ‘Lent’ by Ben Freeman, we have a brand new beautiful print for sale.
Ben Freeman is co-director of Ditto Press, a print-publisher based in London. His career has seen him work as a journalist, editor, designer and photographer. His love of publishing was fueled by the experiences shown in this exhibition.
During Ben’s time in Slovenia he came across a series of illustrated targets on an abandoned shooting range in the forest. In true explorer style he has tracked down the original illustrator, Igor Piculin and together they have created a series of collaborative limited edition Riso print produced by Ditto Press.

HARK was conceived out of Andrew Macgregor and Audrey Roger’s mutual appreciation for colour, pattern and paper.
They wanted to combine their knowledge, skills and inspirations to create an environment for people to experience colour and form in a different way. Expanding on traditional themes of DISTORTION, REPETITION and SYMMETRY. These objects play with pattern in both two and three dimensions. The duo created a landscape of totem poles and shamanic stalactites, woven together by an array of mirrors and lighting design.
These two well regarded artists/ designers have worked across many fields, from illustration and fashion, to set design and art direction. Their portfolios include work for The Guardian, Saatchi & Saatchi, Vogue, Uniqlo, Lacoste, Mazda, Soho House, Tim Walker & Hillman Studio, Christie’s, Somerset House, Selfridges, Print Club London and Supermarket Sarah, to name but a few.
